Hi there! We’re Jessica and Stefanie, and we’re a mother/daughter duo who love to dish about all things travel and makeup related. We started Better Start Beauty as a place to showcase the hairstyles Daisy created for prom and homecoming, but it’s evolved into so much more! We enjoy motivating others, sharing our travel adventures, and providing tips to help girls develop more confidence.

We both love the laid-back vibe of summertime and live for the days when we’re sitting on a beach with our toes in the sand and hair up in messy buns.

When we started this blog, we knew we wanted to be able to give back a percentage of our earnings to the causes that mean the most to us. When you click on or make a purchase through certain links (commonly called “affiliate links“) on this site, we have the potential to make a commission from that click or purchase. While we don’t make much from what we call “click money”, it does add up over time.
